How We Give Back

All-Year Reading Program

It’s a monthly program for preschoolers that RC Rotary reads and entertains in costumes at the CF Goodwin library.
During the summer, we are the main sponsor for the summer reading program for families and children of all ages.

Planting Trees in the Park

Our club has been the main sponsor through district grants and various business donations to plant trees in Becknell Park. We continue to participate in park improvement such as Flagpole with a flag, park benches, trash receptacles, and a butterfly garden.

Highway Clean-Up

Our club is a participant and sponsor of a 2 mile stretch within the Adopt a Highway program. Weather permitting, we schedule trash pickups Quarterly.
Club News
Principal Teresa Atkins from Paula Walker Elementary School presented Emma Vinyard with Royse City’s Rotary Student of the Month for April. Our Superintendent, Dr. Amy Anderson attended as well.
Our program last week was Patriot Paws Service Dogs for Veterans-we heard from Brian Reece, along with his incredible dog Maverick and Doris Richards.
They shared stories of how these life-changing dogs are provided to veterans-completely free of charge. Our Royse City club donated to this incredible cause.
