How We Give Back

All-Year Reading Program

It’s a monthly program for preschoolers that RC Rotary reads and entertains in costumes at the CF Goodwin library.
During the summer, we are the main sponsor for the summer reading program for families and children of all ages.

Planting Trees in the Park

Our club has been the main sponsor through district grants and various business donations to plant trees in Becknell Park. We continue to participate in park improvement such as Flagpole with a flag, park benches, trash receptacles, and a butterfly garden.

Shoes for Kids

Our club proudly works alongside the community at the Shoes for Kids event in Rockwall, helping deliver vaccinations and health screenings, as well as backpacks, food, socks, pencil bags, dental kits, and new shoes for students and families.
Club News

The Royse City Rotary Club recently sponsored the Cops & Bobbers Kid Fishing Derby, bringing together local families, children, and law enforcement for a day of outdoor fun and meaningful connection.

The event provided kids with the opportunity to enjoy fishing while building positive relationships with police officers in a welcoming and friendly setting. Laughter, teamwork, and a few impressive catches made the day memorable for everyone involved.
